Woodpecker primary set. Longest primary is exactly 10cm, maybe less than a millimeter smaller than that. I’ve narrowed this down to only two possible species, the great spotted and the middle spotted woodpecker, even though the feathers are slightly smaller than normal. Very slim chances of them being from a syrian woodpecker, so i’d exclude that species as well.

Obviously this was a young bird. But it's hard to distinguish middle and great spotted woodpecker as the best parts for identification are the secondaries and the tail feathers. The what pattern would match to both.

Great news, i found part of the tail! This is definitely a 1st summer great spotted woodpecker. Too bad the jays got it.
