Discussion

I am not sure of where I found this one, but I believe it is from a river area next to the city of Guadalajara (Central Spain).

Okay, I remember now, since I had already asked for the ID of this feather before (but I hadn't taken down the species). It was found in Embalse del Rosarito, Candeleda, Ávila, Spain. There were many water birds and farms there. Although I didn't see Alopochen aegyptiacus there, I have checked in ebird some people have. I have also thought it belonged to Anas platyrhynchos or a similar duck. Could it be too?

Oh well, i don’t know since i’ve never seen a mallard’s barred feathers up close, but i guess it’s possible
