Cathartes aura (Turkey Vulture)
Discussion
I found this on some property we were looking to buy in Northern California it's about 10" (25cm) long I think it's a secondary wing or tail feather, and a brownish/golden color in the sun. I tried identifying but I'm not 100% sure I'm correct. So I'm looking for second opinions please? Thank you!

Are those found in California? Search shows they are " Found across Europe, western Asia and North Africa"

Stuck between (Golden?) Eagle or Turkey Vulture. Saw a Coopers Hawk flying around there but it doesnt have the banding it shows on Google for hawks, so I didnt think it was Hawk. But I really dont know, I'm pretty new to trying to identify them ????

Dont think it's a golden eagle due to the lack of markings, could be Turkey vulture but I think your feather could be a slightly different shape?

I'm not sure if there is anyone on here who is better with American birds because I'm from the uk so am basing this off of the collections on this website. I think so far, Turkey Vulture is probably the best suited though

That's what made me want a second opinion, haha. It looks right BUT at least 5 cm too short. Thanks for your help though :D !
