Found in Polamd by the lake
Val
According to its color and small size i’m only seeing a resemblance with little stints but they’re not supposed to be in poland at this time of the year...! Another candidate could be the dunlin but their final primary feathers are 8+ cm, and when it comes to small birds every centimeter counts. Did you find it now or in summer?

I found this feather in November, but it could be there since summer. Thanks for your help, it is really interesting becouse it was found by the lake I have never seen Calidris minuta, so that's really important!

Little stints hang around in poland until the end of october and rarely early november, so i believe it’s entirely possible that this is the species the feather belongs to. I doubt it was there since summer because molted feathers become worn pretty quickly, especially near lakes and water beds in general. Anyway, glad i helped you find a new species!
